Rock Chapel is an interdenominational church. It is a pastor-led congregation with an internal board of trustees overseeing the financial affairs of the church and an external board of elders, made up of senior ministers, watching over the spiritual affairs of the congregation.

Peter Wagner describes Rock Chapel and other churches like it as the new apostolic church. Really there's nothing new about the way we do church. We are simply rediscovering the New Testament model of leadership and why it is God's desire for the church today.

Rock Chapel is part of the New Apostolic Reformation that is sweeping the globe today. We are embracing the grassroots phenomenon whereby God is raising up churches and leaders for the last harvest. This church is a Great Comission church with a passion for new methods of reaching people for Christ, worship, Bible study, and cell-based ministry. We are not alone. This type of mnistry is being embraced by hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world today.
