Psalm 8:3–6 (NKJV) says,
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,”
We are crowned by God with glory and honor - or dignity and worth. It is in our DNA to be honored. Our need to be valued drives us to the point that we will strive to get it one way or another. The only sure and right way to get it is from God, not by trying to earn it or get it from man.
You are worthy to God and He sees you as being incredibly valuable. When you find out who you are in Christ, THEN you will know that Your Heavenly Father has ALREADY crowned you will all dignity and worth!
