Luke 8:4–8 (NKJV) [The Parable of the Soils] says, “And when a great multitude had gathered, and they had come to Him from every city, He spoke by a parable: ‘ A sower went out to sow his
seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it. Some fell on rock; and as soon as it sprang up, it withered away because it
lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundredfold.’ When He had said
these things He cried, ‘He who has ears to hear, let him hear!’”

This story (parable) is showing how important the Word of God is to us. The 1 st set of people described in the parable are the ones that don’t understand the Word, so the devil just takes it from them. The birds represent Satan.

If you are standing for healing or finances, then you need to get scriptures and plant them in your heart. How do you do that? You go over them continuously, memorizing them, and then just
meditate on them day after day.

Notice that the devil cannot steal the Word from the other 3 types of people. This 1 st group of people heard the Word, but didn’t receive the Word. They didn’t apply it to their lives.

We will talk about the other 3 groups of people in the next blog!

Which group do you belong to?!
