Do you want to see more results when you pray? Do you want to be more successful in life? Here is a key to open the door to more success – watch your conversation! There are two things to help you do this!
1. Stop Complaining
2. Be Thankful
Your conversation reveals a lot about yourself. When you talk to God is it a whining fest? A lot of prayer is just complaining. You can’t expect to see any results! Complaining will keep you in a place where you’re focused and consumed with THE PROBLEM! It is damaging to your health and your relationships.
So how do we stop this poison of complaining, when we’ve become so good at it?! Ask God for help and start being thankful! Ephesians 3:21-21 (MSG) says, “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Glory to God in the church! Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus! Glory down all the generations! Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!”
God is a gentleman. He’s not going to yell at us and call us idiots when we start complaining! Thank goodness! He will gently remind us through His Holy Spirit of all the things we have to be thankful for!
