Psalm 139:13–17 (NKJV) says,
"For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How great is the sum of them!
The miracle of life is so important to God. The church’s focus has been on preserving the life of babies, and letting the world know what they stand against. While, I support the Pro-Life cause, I truly believe that God wants to relay a message to the mother that has had an abortion.
You are Loved.
You are Accepted.
You are Welcome in our church.
People know more about what the church stands against than what we stand for. That’s not how it should be. The World should know what we stand for before they know what we stand against.
I will always be an advocate for Pro-life, supporting the protection of unborn babies. But, I believe God’s love and grace extends further than we could ever imagine. To the mother who has had an abortion: He wants you to know that you are loved and cherished. Nothing that you have done or will do, could ever push you further than His reach. His love can heal your broken heart.
