Did you know that nothing of any significance ever happens IN your comfort zone? Change is one of the hardest things we encounter and yet it’s completely necessary for growth.

Someone once said, “Changing minds is hard to do: When our most dearly held opinions — things like political convictions, religious beliefs, morals, and core principles — are challenged, our brains put up a tremendous fight to protect them.Research has shown that when deeply held beliefs are called into question, the amygdala, a part of the brain that processes emotions, kicks into high gear as if we were encountering danger, leaving us in no mood to consider a difference of opinion.”

There are three things that we know about the future:

1. It is not going to be like the past.

2. It is not going to be exactly the way we think it's going to be.

3. The rate of change will take place faster than we imagine.

Changing is what will cause you to succeed in life!

You can start by changing by altering the way you THINK…about money, relationships, and especially God.

Once the way you think about God starts to change your life begins to naturally reflect that – the way you think and feel about people begins to change, opportunities begin to open up for you, and your overall well-being becomes better [your thinking affects your health].

“Paradigms can be so strong they act as psychological filters – we quite literally see the world through our paradigms.

Any data that exists in the real world (or even in the Bible) that does not fit our paradigm will have a difficult time getting through our filters. We are quite literally unable to perceive the facts right before our eyes. Thus, our greatest strengths can become our greatest weakness by not allowing us to see both the need and the opportunity for change.

The people who create new paradigms are usually outsiders. They are not part of the established paradigm community.” – (Ronald Timothy)

"When it comes to change, there are three seasons of timing: People change when

• they hurt enough that they have to,

• when they learn enough that they want to, and

• when they receive enough that they are able to."

- John Maxwell

So, it’s critically important that our hearts remain open to what God is doingtoday.

Embrace the Change!!
