Everyone has regrets. Maybe it’s something you’ve done in your Past: mistakes, relationships, or bad financial decisions, etc. Whatever it may be, God wants you to know that He’s not condemning you. That’s right! He’s not holding it against you! The problem is that most people are their own biggest enemy and are Holding it against themselves OR they think God has turned his back on them. You need to stop holding your past mistakes against yourself!

Romans 8:34 (TPT) says, “Who then is left to condemn us? Certainly not Jesus, the Anointed One! For he gave his life for us, and even more than that, he has conquered death and is now risen, exalted, and enthroned by God at his right hand. So how could he possibly condemn us since he is continually praying for our triumph?

God is our biggest fan, cheering us on in life. So, you might be thinking, “Why is it so bad to regret things in your life; what’s the big deal?” The more you focus on what’s behind and what you SHOULD have done, the more likely you’re going to be discouraged and keep from focusing on what’s ahead.

Let go of guilt, shame and regret. Focus on what’s ahead and hold on to this truth that God loves you and you ARE enough!
